FJ Townhall – What You Need to Know About GM/JATCO Site Referendum
Join Forward Janesville for a member townhall on Thursday, July 23 focused on the upcoming GM/JATCO site referendum and what it could mean for Janesville’s future. This educational session is designed to help members better understand the referendum language, the potential long-term implications for redevelopment of the GM/JATCO site, and why this issue matters to our business community and the broader community alike.
George Cullen and Mick Gilbertson will lead the presentation and discussion, sharing information on the referendum itself, what a “yes” vote would mean for future development opportunities at the site, and how the outcome could impact Janesville’s economic growth, tax base, and ability to attract future investment. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussion following the presentation.
This event is free to attend, but advance registration is required. Please register by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 22.
We encourage Forward Janesville members to attend, learn more, ask questions, and stay informed on an issue that could have lasting implications for our community.
