The Beloit Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc. was established in 1987 as a Wisconsin not-for-profit corporation established in compliance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. That organization now serves as a charitable foundation for destination development projects. Visit Beloit, Inc., our operating organization, was established in 2019 as a Wisconsin not-for-profit corporation established in compliance with Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Visit Beloit is funded through grants and contracts with the Cities of Beloit and South Beloit, Village of Rockton, Town of Beloit, the state of Wisconsin, and other resources.
The mission of Visit Beloit is “We are Greater Beloit’s tourism champion using our expertise to generate positive economic impact and to create a vibrant community for residents and visitors.”
The vision of Visit Beloit is “Continuing to transform the Greater Beloit area as an extraordinary place to live and as a preferred travel destination in the Midwest.”
